About

I’ve wanted to become a therapist since I was in high school because I have always wanted to help people overcome their challenges. I’ve always been a goal-oriented person, so ERP therapy fits into my practice. ERP is most effective when there’s a good relationship between member and therapist, so I make it a point to build trust during our sessions. I'll treat you in a non-judgemental space, so you can feel free & safe to open up and share what you’re going through. I like to keep sessions active; this is something I have learned while treating children to keep them engaged, but works for all ages. I’m easy to talk to, and I'll focus on educating you during our time. That way, you have an understanding of the improvements you're making. Together, we can get you to a better place where you can manage your OCD confidently.

OCD can be very challenging, but my favorite part of working with people is seeing the results from session to session. I want to hear your story and your particular experiences with OCD!

My therapist has been great. She is very clear on where I am at, and is very helpful in guiding me in the right direction and explaining specific strategies. I tend to overthink the therapy methods and she has been great at explaining them in ways the really make sense.

I enjoyed my session with Mixi! She was very upfront about the program; I liked that and appreciated it. her questions were great made me think! I felt heard and that is a really great feeling. I'm looking forward to our next session and hope this is a program she feels will help me, to live a more productive life and to clear my head and maybe even my soul of the unsettledness I always feel within me. Her attentiveness and questions to me answers showed she was presented and there for me. Thank You!!!

Mixi is so good at her job. She has helped me learn a lot about OCD in general but specifically how OCD impacts me. Mixi has been very tactical with me and challenges me in the right area at the right time.

I could not be more thankful for my time with NOCD! It was life changing, and I am very fortunate to have had the therapist I had. They were beyond helpful, and I don't know where I would be without her and NOCD! I hope to become an advocate for people that may be on the fence, and not sure if therapy is the right choice. It can get better!

2 sessions in and I’ve had a complete change in how I look at OCD. There’s a long way to go, but I feel the best that I have in a long time- really hopeful!

Mixi is the best. She listens and it’s emphatic. But what I love the most about her is that she is honest and direct.
