I know how debilitating anxiety can be because I've lived it myself. Years ago my anxiety got the best of me and I had to enroll in an intensive outpatient program and received ERP treatment myself. This step in my life allowed me to get back to being the therapist I want to be who provides life-saving treatment to others who need it. This can be scary work at times but I'm here to support and guide you and move at a pace that works for you so that you don't have to walk this journey alone. Let's work together so that you can return to or create the kind of life you want to live, not one determined by your anxiety.

Why our members love working with Liz
M.P.
Liz has been a great help in my ocd-recovery journey. She always gives me great advice, takes her time to answer any questions I have, and always makes me feel comfortable with no judgement. She's the best therapist I've had, and I definitely recommend her to anyone struggling with OCD and Hoarding.
C.D.
She's just the best at listening without judgment, she supports me during my difficulties and celebrates with me when I succeed.
M.P.
I felt seen, HEARD, and listened to. My therapist Liz always makes sure to address my needs, give me a plan for my OCD homework, and answers all my questions.
M.K.
I love my therapist. Not because she makes me feel better, but because she challenges me and makes me feel capable to handle the challenges.

She listened well. She is willing to help me.

Liz always makes me feel seen and heard. She has truly helped me manage my OCD better. She's the best!

Very knowledgeable and comfortable to work with!

I adore my therapist. She is very validating. She allows me to process, yet holds the structure of the session. I know I’m doing a lot of hard work, but I don’t think I’d be as far along as I am without her as my therapist. I’m keeping a gratitude journal now, and one thing I am eternally grateful for is NOCD and my therapist.

She was amazing! She actually got my daughter to talk with her the first session!

Liz has been a MAJOR help in my OCD treatment/recovery. Based on my OCD survey results, my OCD has improved by 86% and I DEFINITELY feel like it has, and by that I mean I am managing my OCD a lot better now that I've been working with Liz and doing ERP, major improvement from before I started working with her. 10/10 recommend! I'm also on medication, so that along with being consistent with my ERP, has improved my quality of life. Thank you, NOCD and Liz!
M.K.
I adore my therapist. I always feel more confident after our sessions. My life is truly changed.

Been working with my NOCD Therapist Liz since July 2022, and I've had a positive experience with her. She is very professional, knowledgeable and detailed. She definitely takes her time with you thoroughly in each session. She's helped me manage my OCD better, and I've seen a MAJOR improvement with my anxiety. She's very experienced with ERP and I know many others can benefit from working with her as I have. I definitely recommend working with Liz to anyone looking for an experienced ERP therapist.

Liz is great. She listen to our concerns about our daughter’s OCD. She is going to help out a plan in place and has been willing to help us with what we’ve needed

My only gripe is that Liz is not taking new patients, even though we were clear that Nicholas is new to nocd. While Liz did a fantastic job, and Nicholas likes her, we feel extremely bummed that she can't take Nicholas. In addition, we'll need to "start over" in two weeks with another therapist. 😣

I adore my therapist. She is very validating and she meets me where I’m at. She celebrates my accomplishments and pushes me to always work harder.

At the end of the one hour, she told me she didn’t take any new patient and would refer me to someone else, but I was told she had a new patient slot when booking my first session with her.

My therapist is extremely understanding and is not surprised or scared of me because of my thoughts.

Liz is really organized, explained reasons for why we are creating the hierarchy and why we need to "rank" my suds, but I really appreciate that she started with level 10 & then went to level 5 & then to level 1 & was willing to only make me fill in level 3 & level 7 instead of going from 10 down to 9 down to 8 etc. since the rankings are so subjective & for me it's difficult (bc of my ocd) to tell the difference between a 10 & a 9 & 8 & 7 but much more doable to describe the difference between a 10, a 5 & a 1 & Liz understood the reasons for why this is difficult for me. She was flexible enough to allow me to only fill in 10, 5, 1 & then maybe go back & fill in 3 & 7, & then not have to fill in the other rankings.

The therapist was kind and patient.I felt heard and understood. I really enjoyed talking to her and the fact she was honest and gave me a history of her professional career.
