My experience with treating OCD:

I've been a licensed OCD therapist since 2009 and have an M.A. in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School Of Professional Psychology. I have personally dealt with anxiety disorders myself, and only use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to treat OCD. I find working with people that have OCD rewarding when I see the changes they make after applying ERP tools into their lives.

About Me

OCD features a pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears. You may have experienced how OCD interferes with your daily activities and causes distress. Ignoring your obsessions only increases your distress and anxiety. Efforts to get rid of bothersome thoughts or urges are used to ease stress, but the thoughts return despite those efforts, leading to more ritualistic behavior — the vicious cycle of OCD. Whether you’re only experiencing unwanted thoughts or also do rituals to stop them, I can help. Patients find me to be understanding, direct, and, most importantly, collaborative. I’m here to listen and guide you, but even though I may be the expert on OCD, you are the expert on you. We need each other to make this work!
