She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LCSW
As a therapist, I am centered on you. I want to understand the specific things you're going through, so we can work through them together. I take a kind but firm approach. I'll acknowledge that things are going to be difficult, but at the same time, that I have confidence you can do it. Fun facts about me: I was a collegiate athlete and have played volleyball pretty much my whole life. Outside of work, I love sporting events, being active, and hanging out with my dogs.

OCD therapy will definitely be a challenge—we're going to be facing uncomfortable situations. However, there is a purpose behind it, and that's so you can get your life back. You can enjoy the things you once enjoyed or thought you could never enjoy, as long as you're willing. I can help you achieve those goals.
I've always wanted to help people going through struggles. When I was younger, my family did family therapy, and I saw how it helped with our communication. I've also gone through individual therapy to learn how to cope with my anxiety and saw that it's effective. That support made me want to help others.
OCD is a condition that can feel so overwhelming, and a lot of people don't fully understand it. But there is a specific treatment to help. I like the structure of OCD therapy and it’s rewarding to see concrete results. We tend to see results pretty quickly, which is incredible for something that feels so overwhelming.
I have experience treating depression and all types of anxiety. I also have a background working with trauma. I really enjoy working with children and adolescents. I've also undergone training to work with people with autism.
It will be a challenge because we're going to be testing difficult things and facing uncomfortable situations. However, there is a purpose behind it—to get your life back and enjoy the things you want to enjoy. As long as you're willing, and we're working together, I can help you achieve those goals.
I love open communication. Just give me a heads-up that there's something you find difficult to share. If it's easier, you can send me messages at first, as we're building rapport. I will provide an open space to work with you—I can give you some options, and we can problem-solve together to figure out how I can best support you until you feel comfortable sharing.
