I’ve been a licensed therapist since 2000, having studied at the University of Illinois in Chicago. When someone comes to me with OCD symptoms, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy because no other treatment is as effective. I love being part of someone's journey that allows them to get a life back that is valuable to them. You’ll find me to be an empathetic and passionate therapist whose only goal is to see you overcome OCD.
You may be experiencing thoughts, urges, or images that you can’t get out of your head. They return, invading your day, and forcing you to spend time dealing with the anxiety that comes along with it. These unwanted, intrusive thoughts are part of what define OCD. I’m here to teach you how to handle your obsessions and compulsions. I praise your courage to share your thoughts with me, because I know it takes a lot to face your fears. Previous OCD clients have described me as patient, flexible, empathetic, and non-judgemental with a good sense of humor. It’s important that we establish trust, because the more you share, the faster we can move together to get you out from the grasp of OCD.
