About

My approach to OCD therapy is collaborative. I create personalized treatment plans tailored to each member’s unique needs, preferences, and goals. I'm committed to using evidence-based treatment approaches, specifically exposure response prevention (ERP). I focus on empowering members to take an active role in treatment while providing ongoing support to help build resilience. Outside of therapy, I enjoy exploring Manhattan, particularly new restaurants. Cooking has always been a passion of mine, and I love trying out new recipes. I often go on long walks in Central Park with my dog Luca.

Get to know Allie Boselli

A combination of my personal experiences, values, and beliefs. I've always been interested in human behavior, neuroscience, and psychology, helping others, and engaging in meaningful work. I find fulfillment in the meaningful connections I form with members. It's so rewarding to witness growth and transformation.

I understand how difficult and debilitating OCD can be. There aren't enough professionals trained in treating OCD, and it often goes misdiagnosed. It's an unfairly stereotyped condition. I have empathy and understanding for the challenges faced by individuals with OCD.

I was initially trained in rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) and reality therapy (RT), two types of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I have experience treating generalized anxiety disorder, depression, adjustment disorders, illness anxiety and social anxiety.

Engaging in this work can be challenging, but it’s no more demanding than the everyday challenges you’ve likely encountered with OCD. You are not alone, and you have the ability to make positive changes in your life.

I encourage you to express any concerns or fears that you may have. I understand how scary it can feel to share your thoughts with another person. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space. I will never ask you to share anything you’re not comfortable sharing.
