My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have two friends who have OCD and I relate to different aspects of it. I also have family members struggling with depression and anxiety, which is what initially inspired me to become a therapist. I love what I do, especially when I get to watch people see progress. I get fulfilled feeling like I'm being of service to them. That's what I'm passionate about.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I'll talk about things that I struggle with or think about to help you feel comfortable sharing with me and build that connection. I try to normalize what you're feeling, too. I want you to be able to feel like, "Okay, this is somebody who relates to me."

My favorite part of treating OCD

Each morning, I wake up excited about the opportunity to support someone on their mental health journey. It is both a privilege and a responsibility that I deeply cherish, and I am truly grateful for the work I do every day. Working with people who have OCD is not just my profession—it's my calling and my purpose.
