As a therapist, I use a non-judgmental, strengths-oriented, evidence-based approach. I'll meet you where you're at and get to know you, and we'll work together to identify goals and help you reach them. Individuals in my family have struggled with mental health, and I've seen therapy help people overcome tremendous obstacles in their lives. I've also treated depression, anxiety, social phobias, grief, trauma, substance abuse, and persistent mental illness. I know it may be difficult to take the first step and seek help. But I'll be with you, every step of the way.

My personal connection to mental health
I've been impacted by mental health conditions through close friends who've struggled with depression and anxiety. Seeing the positive effect that therapy can have, and how they learned to manage their mental health effectively, has shaped how I approach this work.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I'll dedicate time for you to explain what you've been struggling with, share your story, and ask any questions you have. I'll also remind you that our sessions are confidential and judgment-free, and that we'll work together collaboratively to challenge you without overwhelming you.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to have faith in yourself and in the exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy process, to be persistent in reaching your treatment goals, and to push through discomfort.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy is the most effective treatment for OCD. There is no such thing as untreatable OCD.

Good experienceWe are parents of an adolescent who is not ready to get help. This session was an educational session for us. The therapist was very knowledgeable and supportive. It was eye-opening to learn how some of our behaviors are actually accommodating our son's OCD. We will keep working to try to get him to get help!
