She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LCSW
I take a jump-right-in approach to treating OCD, because I want to help members get back to living their lives as soon as possible. You have the ability to make changes. Once you understand the game OCD plays, you can run your own therapy sessions. Outside of work, I enjoy creative projects that incorporate sewing, crafts, and upcycling old things around the house. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends by checking out new local restaurants.

Whatever intrusive thoughts you may have, they will always be met with empathy, compassion and understanding. I want to help you get better and get your life back!
Growing up, my friends always came to me with their challenges and personal issues. Listening to and validating others were things that I really valued. When I saw that I could help people help themselves, I knew therapy was my calling. I started out wanting to work with children and quickly expanded to all age groups.
People in my life have suffered with OCD. I saw how debilitating it can be. When I learned that traditional talk therapy actually makes OCD worse, I was eager to know more about ERP and how to be a better therapist to my OCD clients.
Aside from OCD, I also focus on depression, anxiety, ADHD, suicidality and self-injury, and trauma. These areas interest me because I have friends and family who have struggled with these conditions. I want to make a difference and spread awareness.
Every therapist at NOCD goes through intensive training during their onboarding process, no matter their OCD background and experience. We take pride in that. When we have therapists who are confident in their training and skills, we can help members effectively.
It's understandable that you might be afraid to share your thoughts. As an OCD specialist, I have heard, learned, and worked with many different subtypes. Most likely, yours will not be surprising to me. Whatever intrusive thoughts you may have, they will always be met with empathy, compassion and understanding. I want to help you get better and get your life back!
NOCD therapists are trained by our world-renowned clinical leadership team.
