I’ve been a licensed therapist for more than 2 years, working at a community health center in Milwaukee where I treated OCD along with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. I have experience using several therapeutic approaches such as mindfulness and grounding techniques, but my primary approach to treat your OCD will be Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. ERP gives you effective tools that you can use to combat OCD whenever it arises.
A tragic incident during my college years led me to seek guidance at my campus wellness center, where I learned how the support one receives affects every aspect of their life. That’s why I create an environment for members that makes them feel comfortable so they can open up about their OCD. Our sessions are your time, and your recovery is the central focus of our treatment. I’ll make sure you're heard without judgment, as I create exercises based on your specific needs. I’m always searching for the good in others, motivated to find your inner strengths. Beyond being a therapist, I’m also an advocate to remove the stigma that surrounds OCD - especially in Latin communities. You’ll find me curious and encouraging, with only one goal in mind - to get your life back from OCD.
