Having spent almost 15 years treating people in group therapy, intensive outpatient, and other mental health care settings, I’ve seen my fair share of OCD challenges. My additional experience treating anxiety and panic disorders has prepared me to handle any OCD case. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy during sessions because ERP can treat all OCD subtypes. I know that you can find great success learning ERP tools.
I know that OCD can make you feel stuck and frustrated. You may often feel afraid, overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious by unwanted thoughts. Those thoughts can lead to compulsive behaviors that recycle anxiety into your life. But even though OCD thoughts can be distressing and seem real, they don’t reflect the true nature of who you are. The right therapy can help. Members often express their gratitude for treating them not as a problem to solve but as a whole person struggling with a real-life issue.
