During the last several years as a licensed therapist, I treated many OCD and cases of anxiety, but my background is more diverse than that. I’ve helped women with postpartum depression and treated patients within an outpatient clinic. I now specialize in OCD, using my 13 years of clinical therapy experience to help you overcome OCD. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy is a well-researched method that teaches people with OCD to not rely on compulsions, with many NOCD members seeing results after completing 10 hours of treatment.
OCD can bring great conflict in your life. Not only do the intrusive thoughts you’re experiencing affect your behavior, mood, and anxiety levels, but your relationships with family and friends can get strained. One of my best skills as a therapist is getting people in sessions to open up, so you can let go of the stress you feel while I learn more about you. You’ll find a non-judgemental space for you to share your OCD experiences. You’ll find me to be conversational and able to put you at ease. There’s no room for being reserved as a therapist. Learning about each other makes sessions more productive, as I guide you towards your goal of putting your OCD troubles behind you.
