Right now, you're experiencing thoughts and urges that you find scary and overwhelming. You may be seeing horrible images that make you question who you are. I want you to know that you are not your thoughts, and you are not a bad person. These thoughts and urges belong to your OCD. I'm here to empower you, to teach you new skills that you can use to manage OCD on your own. You'll feel safe during my sessions. You will never be judged for the thoughts and urges that OCD is pushing on you. Members find me to be open and honest. I like to say that shame doesn't exist, at least not when you're with me. Whatever comes up during our time, we will work through it together.
I know taking this step is a big one, and it can definitely be really scary to even decide to do therapy, but I want to let you know you are not alone in this and we will get through this together.
