I’ve been treating people with OCD since 2016. It’s always been a passion for treating people with OCD, partly because I have my own experiences with intrusive thoughts. I participated in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, so I know how well ERP can work for someone with OCD. ERP is incredibly effective and works for all OCD subtypes.
OCD makes you feel great anxiety, forcing you to use compulsions as a method to destress from your unwanted thoughts, feelings, and urges. On top of that, you may feel anxious knowing that you’re going to have to share your OCD experiences, which is something you may have never done before. It’s not easy to share them, so in our sessions, I’ll use humor to break the tension you may be feeling while creating a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Members have stated that they find me compassionate and empathetic. I want to learn about you and how you’re feeling because the more I know about who you are and what you're going through, the better I can help you.
