In therapy, I like to take a collaborative approach. You are the expert on yourself and your symptoms, and I'm the expert in ERP, for the time being. I'll teach you ERP, specific to you as a unique individual, so you can become a specialist in your own treatment. Outside of work, I enjoy being a bit of an adrenaline junkie by backcountry skiing and snowmobiling.
This might be different from therapy you've experienced in the past, and it’ll be different from how you have been experiencing your own thoughts and feelings. Be open to learning something new.
