Licensed Therapist, MA, LPC
I treat OCD with Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP). This approach involves gradually exposing members to feared or triggering situations or thoughts while refraining from the compulsive behaviors they usually perform to reduce anxiety. The goal is to help members confront their fears and learn that anxiety naturally decreases over time without engaging in compulsions. This process helps break the cycle of obsession and compulsion, ultimately reducing the overall impact of OCD on their lives. A fun fact about me: I love playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends. Beyond that, I love all things entertainment, including movies, TV shows, and video games. I'm a proud parent to two medium-haired black cats that my partner and I rescued when they were just four weeks old.
