About

In therapy, I value creating a non-judgmental environment and a space that is really collaborative. I have professional insight and knowledge about certain things, but you know yourself and your own experiences best. This is a partnership. Even though we're working on some difficult things in session, often we get to have fun too. Fun fact about me: I am an animal lover. I have four pet rats. They're super cute—polarizing, though!

All you need to do is take the first step: Make that appointment and show up for the first session. You don't need to have anything planned out beyond that. Truly, it is just one step at a time.

I was scared to start NOCD, but seeing Meghan for 3 months, pausing, and then being with her for 3 more months so far has been the best decision I ever made. She is a FANTASTIC therapist. If you are a self-identified intellectual you’ll love her as she is very intelligent (it says she studied at University of Chicago and it shows), warm, open-minded, observant, and extremely attuned to you in sessions. She offers great insights that hit deep into the core of the fear behind the compulsion and understands you deeply. She shares in advance when she’s going on vacation and has excellent communication skills. She’s a solid and steady and reliable presence. She is a top-notch therapist that I can’t recommend enough and has made my OCD journey such a positive one.

Meghan has been very understanding when listening to me. Encouraging and informative, in helping me to understand ocd and erp. She like a coach helping in a boxing match.

I’ve been seeing Meghan for a few months now and she is an incredible therapist. She’s really intelligent (as a self-identified nerd, I love this) and insightful and really attuned to her clients needs, because she’s an active listener. She’s great at identifying the root underlying fears beneath OCD obsessions and coming up with ERP practices to target them. She’s also really compassionate and soothing, which is a tough task when you’re not allowed to give reassurance. She somehow always finds a way to put a smile on my face.

Though difficult to discuss these thoughts I’ve been keeping in it felt good to be seen and heard and Meghan was really understanding and validating. I’m ready to start healing.
