I began my therapist career at a local hospital treating people with challenges such as anxiety, depression, and OCD. I now offer specialized OCD treatment through NOCD, providing you with the right tools to help you manage OCD on your own During our sessions, I will be using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to show you how to manage your OCD. You can also be sure that during treatment, I will always be by your side.
Using compulsions to relieve anxiety doesn’t make the anxiety go away permanently. In fact, the more you do compulsions, the longer it takes for your anxiety to subside. Many people report feeling stuck after having OCD for an extended period of time. The right therapy can help you get out of this “stuck” phase or help prevent you from having this feeling in the first place. Of course, the biggest goal that I want you to reach is to no longer have OCD control your life. ERP will allow you to reach that goal. I create a space where I will not judge you. I’m here to listen to your experiences so I can create a personalized treatment for you. Members find me open-minded and caring.
