I come from a family of helping professionals. I've personally experienced anxiety throughout my lifetime and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. If I can help someone live with anxiety, OCD, or anything else, I find it enormously rewarding. As a therapist, I bring understanding and compassion to our sessions. I will meet you where you are. Together, we'll take steps to progress. Know that the first step is always the hardest. The more we meet, the more comfortable you'll feel.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I went to school because I had an interest in mental health, but what got me specifically interested in treating OCD was the fact that I have it. I didn't realize I had OCD until I was 45. Now, I'm able to help someone identify whether they have the condition, treat it, and help them get better at managing symptoms. That's what I'm here for. I don't want people to go through their life not knowing whether they have OCD.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I start my sessions by telling you about my personal experience with OCD and what it looked like for me. I understand what you're going through because I have OCD. That typically allows an open conversation because I fully understand. I want to be able to maintain a warm environment. I know when it's time to be serious and when it's appropriate to use humor.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to be confident in your life, to enjoy your life, and not feel that dread, anxiety, and doubt. I want you to be free from the chains of OCD and what it stops you from doing.

What my Members say helps them feel comfortable with me

My members like that I'm very open and honest about my life and what I've been through. I think that transparency makes a big difference. Because at the end of the day-we're all human. Therapists are human too.
