I was diagnosed with OCD at 13, so I know firsthand what it's like. OCD is a disorder based on fear, and the best way to conquer fear is by facing it, learning to cope with the anxiety, and practicing that over and over to lessen the fear. You'll be in good hands with me, and as we go through the treatment process, I'm confident you'll see you're capable of handling more than you thought. In addition to treating OCD, I’ve supported people navigating depression, anxiety, and eating disorders across a wide range of backgrounds.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I was diagnosed with OCD at 13, and I've struggled with anxiety for the majority of my life. I believe that these experiences help me understand what other people with OCD are going through, empathize with them more, and be able to relate to them.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I grew up in a household that valued empathy and caring for one another. It's the reason why I try to live a life of non-judgment, openness, and inclusivity, and I definitely try to bring that into my therapy approach. I also maintain a casual environment. I want you to feel welcome, supported, heard, and understood.
What I want to help you see in yourself
My goal is to help you get back to living your best life, reconnect with your true desires and values, and achieve a sense of calm. I want you to have courage and confidence, and to learn to be kind to yourself. I'll always try to point out shame and guilt and redirect you towards self-compassion.
Why I became a therapist
I wanted to help others, and I believe that there is true meaning in being able to connect with someone and see that they're more than the issues they're dealing with. I think that being seen and understood can be healing, so I think that showing up for someone has meaning and purpose.
