I was inspired to become an OCD therapist by a family member with the condition. I understand the challenges that present with OCD, and I treat my members with great respect, sensitivity and compassion. OCD is very common, and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) is a highly effective treatment. In our sessions, I will create a safe space for you to share your thoughts, feelings and concerns. You will be supported and your input valued through the entire therapy process. Beyond OCD, I specialize in treating anxiety and depressive disorders.

My personal connection to OCD
My cousin's son has OCD. I've heard about what he's been going through for so many years. He's in his 30s now, but it really was a struggle. My son is also in his 30s. He has Autism, so that was a different path, but I'm used to supporting people who are facing challenges. Being of service is really important to me. It's always been a passion of mine. I want to do good, be present, and have good energy for others.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I really work hard at creating a safe space from the first session. I try to be compassionate, understanding, do a lot of listening, and just provide a real, comfortable place where you can feel safe sharing information that might be difficult to share. I want to support you and allow you to process things.
My favorite part of treating OCD
When I watch people make positive changes and see those big wins and successes. Seeing someone who is struggling and then all of a sudden, they just take those steps and they're able to actually feel good about what's going on in their life, re-engage, and enjoy themselves is really inspiring.
Why our members love working with Patricia
J.C.
Patricia holds such a comforting and nonjudgmental space for myself. Starting ERP can be daunting, but she helps make it feel more relaxed and doable. I’m grateful!
