OCD is a very treatable condition, and getting treatment can make a huge difference in your quality of life. As your therapist, I'll meet you where you are, create a safe environment for you to share, and use the appropriate techniques to help you. Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment. There may be times when it feels challenging, but you'll be supported through every step. In addition to OCD, I have experience working with stress, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship issues.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have a loved one with OCD, which gives me a lot of empathy for what people go through as they work to manage their symptoms. I also grew up around family members with mental health conditions. Seeing that every day impacted me deeply, and part of why I became a therapist was to help others conquer their challenges.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I provide a nonjudgmental space where you can express your most embarrassing or frightening thoughts and know that it's okay. We can talk about anything, and you'll be met with safety and acceptance.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to give yourself grace and see that you have the courage to face distressing thoughts. The things you've previously done to manage anxiety may have helped in the moment, but exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy gives you the chance for longer-lasting results and a higher quality of life. I want you to feel empowered to take that step.

The most rewarding part of treating OCD

Seeing someone's symptoms decrease and watching them realize that they now have the tools to manage obsessions and compulsions, and that they'll keep those tools long after our time together ends.
