About

I bring compassion and authenticity to therapy sessions.OCD is a chronic illness. My background in physical illness helps me to understand how debilitating and isolating any chronic illness can be. I believe therapy shouldn't be a mystery. I take time to explain symptoms and treatments, ensuring you understand why they'll help. Outside of work, I enjoy exercise, reading, yoga, and spending time with my family.

Get to know Kaila Robertson

I worked in marketing for many years before becoming a therapist. In the corporate world, I noticed how difficult it was to access quality mental health care, even for those with insurance. I decided to become a therapist to help close that gap.

Specialized care for OCD can be hard to come by, and it is such a treatable condition. I've seen the impact ERP can have on OCD. That’s why I'm thrilled to work with NOCD to bring this specialized care to those who are suffering.

Long COVID, chronic illness, and anxiety. People living with chronic illness, particularly long COVID, are two understudied and underserved populations. I work on research related to the mental health impacts of long COVID. I love seeing people feel better and build confidence to handle mental health challenges.

You have already done (or are about to do) the hardest part, which is getting started. It takes immense courage to begin treatment. Know that you're on the path to feeling better.

Please tell me! It is totally normal to feel afraid. We will take things at your pace and can discuss your fears before you decide to share.
