I meet each person where they are in their journey of healing. I see you as a whole person, with strengths, areas for growth, and needs. I individualize therapy and will partner with you. Ideally, you'll feel ownership of your treatment and view me as a "coach" who will help you reach your treatment goals. Scrupulosity (or religious OCD) is a particular area of interest for me; this allows me to bring my practice of Christianity into my therapy work. I also specialize in treating mood disorders, such as major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

My choice to become a therapist was driven by my own experiences of having loved ones who struggle with mental health conditions. I have experienced firsthand how compassionate and clinically excellent treatment empowers people to not only recover, but thrive in life.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I meet you where you are in your journey of healing. I see you as a whole person, with strengths, areas for growth, and needs. I individualize my approach to working with you and partner with you so that you feel ownership of your treatment and hopefully view me as your "coach" to help you reach your treatment goals.

My message to you if you're struggling right now

It can take courage to choose to start treatment, and while ERP can involve confronting anxiety and learning to tolerate uncertainty, this happens in a gradual manner. Treatment is not intended to flood you with unmanageable anxiety and as your therapist, I will be by your side throughout your healing journey.

The most rewarding part of treating OCD

Accompanying people on their journey of healing is a privilege. One of the most gratifying aspects is celebrating their breakthroughs and reminding them of how far they have come.
