Experience in treating OCD
I first began seeing OCD clients as a practicum student during my Master's program while working for an OCD specific group practice in Lakewood, CO. Starting here, I saw primarily teens with OCD and worked with their families to help manage home accommodations. I continued working with this practice through my internship and pre-licensure. I have found that I work well with POCD, scrupulosity OCD, and other harm-based OCD based on my understanding of client's morals, values, and ability to connect with them on a human level. I have continued working with OCD now being on my own in private practice and connect with lots of other OCD providers through consultation groups, colleagues, and trainings.

About
My name is Taylor Kucensky and I have been working with OCD clients since January 2021. I have a Masters in Counseling from the University of Denver. I am fully licensed in Colorado and Montana. I have in person availability for Colorado clients at my office in Littleton and offer telehealth services as well. I have experience working with children as young as 8 years old up to adults in their later years with OCD and other mood disorders. I am a no-nonsense therapist meaning I will likely tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear! I also encourage the same from my clients! I want to help you learn how to advocate for yourself and reach your goals in treatment and recovery! I am passionate about supporting you and your values in our work together. Some of my values are spending time outside with my 1.5 year old dog, Mabel, and my partner, being creative, and spending time with my friends! I offer free video consultations to ensure that we are the right fit for each other. I am private pay only at the moment but work with the organization Second Wind Fund to provide resources to those who cannot afford services.
