My approach to treating OCD is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP), and guided by an understanding of difficult thoughts and emotions. The space I provide is objective, empathetic, kind, and judgment-free. ERP can be tough, but the results are worth the effort! The best part of my job is helping people overcome OCD and reclaim important parts of their lives. My other areas of focus include BFRBs, men's issues, illness anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and related conditions.

Why our members love working with Aaron
J.S.
Aaron is an exceptional OCD therapist; deeply skilled, precise, and remarkably non-judgmental. Where some therapists can unintentionally worsen OCD, he does the opposite: he knows how to skillfully trigger obsessions in service of ERP while firmly guiding you away from compulsions. He creates a space that feels both safe and challenging. On top of that, he’s incredibly friendly and human. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Aaron Marks is an absolute genius, a credit to his craft, a gift to NOCD, and a blessing to me. I cant say enough about Aaron. If you want to feel like a new improved person without question Aaron is the best!!!!
J.S.
He creates a truly open and non-judgmental space where I feel safe talking about taboo themes and heavy emotional baggage. Unlike past therapists, he doesn’t feed into my compulsions with reassurance, but gently helps me recognize and understand the cycle more clearly over time. I highly recommend Aaron, especially for men who are struggling with taboo themes and men’s mental health challenges.

Aaron Mark's is amazing. His empathy and his expertise in OCD is unmatched. He knows what im going to say and how to address my issues before I can explain them. He is an expert and I would recommend him to anyone suffering from this. This is the therapist you need to see. Five stars isn't enough. -Colin
J.S.
I can’t say enough good things about my therapist. He’s cool as hell, approachable, confidential, and completely nonjudgmental. You always feel safe being real with him. Beyond that, he’s wise and grounded, offering solid advice without ever pushing or preaching. What really sets him apart is how skilled he is at working with OCD. A lot of therapists unintentionally enable compulsions, but he knows the patterns inside and out. He challenges the OCD in a way that’s effective without getting you tangled in the compulsions. He doesn’t just talk the talk; he really gets it, and he’s incredibly good at what he does. If you’re struggling with OCD or just need someone solid in your corner, this is the kind of therapist you hope to find.

I’ve worked with several therapists in the past, searching for the right fit, and I’m grateful to say I’ve finally found it. Aaron is not only friendly and approachable, but also deeply knowledgeable and resilient. He creates a space where it feels easy to talk about anything, no matter how heavy. He’s incredibly attentive and flexible, consistently working with his clients to accommodate schedules and ensure support is always accessible. I highly recommend him, especially for men navigating men’s issues or for anyone going through a really dark time. Even after just one session, I felt a significant sense of relief.
