My approach to treating OCD is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP), and guided by an understanding of difficult thoughts and emotions. The space I provide is objective, empathetic, kind, and judgment-free. ERP can be tough, but the results are worth the effort! The best part of my job is helping people overcome OCD and reclaim important parts of their lives. My other areas of focus include BFRBs, men's issues, illness anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and related conditions.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
Anxiety has always been something I've struggled with. I've had panic attacks since I was a teenager that I've been able to overcome through my own exposure therapy. When I say ERP works, it's authentic and genuine, because I've been through it. It's been the most effective method for managing my anxiety symptoms.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I am present with you and I never judge. I help you gauge what you're ready for. I let you know that we don't have to go to these level 10 exposures if you're not ready.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to see that you're resilient. It's obviously so stressful to have OCD, but we can take that distress and suffering and turn it into a strength, rather than something to avoid.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
You don't have to live like this forever. OCD is treatable. I can help you figure out what's making you feel unready to start treatment. Maybe you come in with severe depression, so we start with that. Or, you have a history of PTSD that needs to be resolved before ERP can even be effective.
