I believe therapy starts with getting to know you. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you'll feel empowered to be yourself and comfortable sharing openly. I value genuine, human-to-human conversations and will help you feel at ease while we work toward meaningful changes in your life. For me, one of the most rewarding parts of this work is seeing people do things they once avoided and move toward the life they want. I also have experience helping people with anxiety and depression.

Why I became a therapist
For several years, I worked with patients in the dialysis setting who were dealing with chronic kidney disease, and I learned that I really loved being a support to them and helping them navigate their emotions. That experience led me to start doing virtual therapy focused mostly on anxiety and depression, and eventually to specializing in OCD because I wanted to provide people with effective, evidence-based treatment.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I think the most important thing is getting to know you first and taking the time to help you feel comfortable. I want you to know that you can come into this space with no judgment and feel open to sharing what's on your mind. Through my words, my body language, and the way I show up in sessions, my goal is to help you feel heard and supported.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
If you're feeling hesitant, scared, or unsure about starting exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, I would encourage you to share that with your therapist and ask any questions you have. Change can feel scary at first, but that fear is often so much smaller than the meaningful gains you can make in your life. ERP is about facing fears in the short term so you can create the changes you want in the long term.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
The most rewarding part of being a therapist is hearing, over time, from my Members that they've been able to make changes they initially thought wouldn't be possible. Whether it's spending more time with family or doing things they once avoided because of anxiety, it's incredibly meaningful to see people begin living the way they want to live.
