I’ve been treating people for a wide range of mental health challenges for over a decade, and now specialize in helping people with OCD. As my career progressed, I began to specialize in anxiety disorders and saw more people with OCD while working outpatient and virtual cases. I’ve come to use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy because of how wonderfully effective it is. Virtual teletherapy allows people with OCD to be in their natural environment, such as their home, which means they can feel a little more comfortable while learning ERP techniques.
OCD leaves a trail of emotions behind, such as anxiety, shame, and fear. These emotions make a joyful life challenging to achieve. You have the strength to combat OCD, but you need the right tools. ERP brings great progress, with most people seeing results from ERP quickly. I’m here not only to show you what tools to use but to show you where your strengths are, even if you can’t see them for yourself. During sessions, you’ll find me to be honest and passionate.
