NOCD Therapy is targeted and evidence-based. As your therapist, I won't treat you with a cookie-cutter approach. I'll tailor treatment to your needs. In sessions, I'm supportive, warm, and patient. I really enjoy connecting with people and helping them see they're more than a diagnosis. I understand living with OCD can be distressing, scary, and life-halting. You deserve support as you reestablish your confidence and joy and reclaim your life. In addition to OCD, I specialize in treating grief, anxiety, and family estrangement.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I have family members who have experienced severe psychiatric conditions, and that shaped my understanding of mental health. I've seen the stigma, the difficulty accessing resources, and the challenges in finding providers who truly understand. I want people to feel heard and seen, even when working with someone who isn't exactly like them.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
Therapy is collaborative. It's not me talking at you; it's us working together. I'll remind you that your input is a huge part of your experience. We go low and slow—there's no rush to open up. I also ask you to think beyond your symptoms. Who are you as a person? You are not just a diagnosis; you are still you.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I love when people reach a place of understanding about what they're experiencing. Instead of self-doubt and questioning—"Am I crazy? Does this make sense?"—they can say, "This is what I experience, and this is what I want help with." That moment of clarity is a huge win. I appreciate and feel honored when people feel safe enough to say things they once kept inside—out of fear or shame. That's a step in the right direction.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
Helping people see themselves beyond their diagnosis is so rewarding. I love when members realize OCD is a part of their experience—it's not all of who they are.
