- Experience in treating OCD
- I completed my PhD at Yale University, and continued to develop an expertise in OCD during a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at The Reeds Center in Manhattan, which specializes in the treatment of OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders. I am now a licensed psychologist and co-director of a group practice, Flatiron CBT, where I regularly work with patients with OCD, and train and supervise other clinicians in ERP. Over the last 10+ years, I have received intensive training in ERP, CBT, and ACT from experts in the field of OCD.

- About
- My practice specializes in Exposure and Prevention (ERP) Therapy for OCD. Often, I bring in additional therapeutic approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for increasing psychological flexibility, compassion-focused approaches to target shame and guilt that can often co-occur with symptoms of OCD, as well as Motivational Interviewing to build client motivation. I also have experience working with body focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), OCPD, and perfectionism. I work with clients on a wide range of OCD themes (e.g., intrusive thoughts about morality, harm, sexual orientation, pedophilia, relationships, contamination, postpartum, health & illness anxiety, hyper-awareness/sensorimotor, hyper-responsibility, real event OCD, fear of forgetting, 'just right' OCD, and many more).
