My approach to treating OCD is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I will create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own speed. During treatment, I will focus on empowerment, helping you regain control over your life and develop lasting skills to manage OCD symptoms effectively. We will progress at a pace that ensures you feel safe and supported throughout. I also aim to treat anxiety, depression, and substance abuse; these issues often coexist and influence each other, which deeply impacts how I work with people with OCD.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I decided to specialize in OCD because it's something I've struggled with personally. It wasn't until I found a therapist who specialized in ERP therapy that I began to make progress. I want to bring the same empathy and acceptance that my therapist gave to me into my own sessions, and help my Members feel seen, understood, and empowered to take back control of their lives.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
It can seem hard to open up about what makes you feel vulnerable. I know this all too well from my own experiences with therapy. I'll provide a non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to be able to recognize the strength you have within yourself, and to see a side of yourself that you may have had trouble seeing in the past. I want to reinforce that you have the ability to overcome whatever struggles you're going through—those things don't have to run your life any longer.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
I know it can seem really hard to open up about what feels vulnerable or scary, or to challenge the thoughts and behaviors you've engaged in throughout your life. It's my job as a therapist to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being open and honest. Your honesty is valuable because it lets us work together and find ways to manage these difficult thoughts.
