My personal connection to OCD and mental health
What led me to therapy was my own experience with panic attacks, depression, and anxiety. At the time, I didn't know as much about OCD as I do now, but as I learned more, I realized how many people struggle with similar experiences. I love what I do because I understand the feelings of "What's wrong with me?" and "Will my life ever be the same?" I want to help people find hope and get their lives back.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I want people to know that their deeper, darker thoughts don't make them crazy. OCD makes people believe they are alone in their experiences, but that's not true. I'll help you understand where these thoughts come from and show you that ERP can help. There is a way forward, and you don't have to be afraid to talk about what you're going through.
My message to you if you're struggling right now
You won't be doing this alone. I will be with you every step of the way. We go at your pace, and we will only move forward when you're ready. ERP is proven to work-I've seen it work. If you're struggling, I want you to know that you can get better.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to see that you are capable of change and that you don't have to live in fear forever. I believe in this therapy because I've seen it work over and over again. People who once felt hopeless start to take control of their lives.
