About

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Outside of therapy, I have two male spotted goats named Doomsday and Apocalypse. I got them about 8 months ago. At the time, I never dreamed how wonderfully fascinating these creatures can be. I've also never laughed so long and hard at anything in all my 64 years.

Get to know Joann Crants

I've always had a deep interest in psychology and in helping people.

The underpinnings of OCD seemed to closely relate to other treatment areas (substance abuse, compulsive disorder) of people I regularly see in my practice.

Anxiety, anger management, trauma, and EMDR.

It takes courage to seek help, and then take the first tentative steps toward change. If you're ready to tell your story, I'm here to listen and to support you in your journey toward a new life. Change can be scary. However, you'll be part of a learning process, and your therapist and other guides are here to help you along the way.
