I describe my approach to treating OCD as holistic. It includes mindfulness and paying attention to what your body is feeling. I teach members to practice acceptance of their responses and behaviors, knowing they'll learn they have choices. Some fun facts about me: I am married with six amazing daughters, two granddaughters, and a fur baby named Nala. I love writing poetry and traveling. I have been to Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua, London, France, Italy, Greece, and Canada, and I'm looking for more places to put on my bucket list.
Healing from OCD is possible. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's OK if you sometimes need someone else to hold the lamp.
