About

I treat OCD with compassion, understanding, and action. Outside of work, I’m a huge fan of gaming and have probably played almost every game you can think of. I’m also heavily invested in fitness and prioritize going to the gym five days a week. I’m also a lover of animals—I have a cat, Winston, and plan on adopting a puppy in 2024.

Get to know Lee Solomon

Throughout my life, I was faced with many barriers, mental health obstacles, and family stressors. I became a therapist to inspire and instill hope in others. All forms of pain are temporary, and you can learn how to overcome them through professional guidance.

My passion for treating OCD began when I was a young boy. My sister and father are diagnosed with OCD, which has motivated me to fully understand the diagnosis while learning how to optimally treat this population.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. I've been conducting therapy with these populations for almost five years now and utilize CBT, motivational interviewing, and DBT. I wanted to focus on these areas because of my upbringing, which developed anxiety, depression, and trauma within myself. Years of going to therapy and acquiring my master's degree in mental health counseling have turned me into a well-versed therapist.

The most important factor to be aware of is that therapy can be an uncomfortable process. However, the more comfortable we are with the uncomfortable, the more confidence we develop.

Feeling hesitant about sharing your thoughts with someone is normal and expected! However, the more information you share, the more effective work that can be done. The great thing about therapy at NOCD is that it’s a collaborative approach. We're a team and work together.
