My therapeutic style is both clinical and relational. This is a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself; I’ll focus on building rapport with you. I value collaboration and connection, especially when our work feels difficult or challenging. I find deep meaning in helping people make meaningful changes and build a future that reflects what matters to them. I also have experience with how OCD can overlap with depression, anxiety, and other related concerns, as well as experience working with people living with HIV.

Why I chose to specialize in OCD
I've always been drawn to helping people through difficult times and helping them discover parts of themselves that they either lost or didn't know they had. I wanted to specialize in OCD treatment after seeing how incredibly challenging OCD can be, and how traditional talk therapy did not seem to help. I recognized that this population really needs proper care and support.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I know that reaching out for help may feel extremely difficult, especially if OCD has convinced you that your thoughts define you or tell the story of who you are. My job is to make sure you have an open space where you can talk freely about whatever you need to. I want you to know that you can talk about all kinds of thoughts here.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to feel genuinely understood, accepted, and cared for while we make meaningful progress toward your goals. Above all, I want you to realize that you're more capable than OCD has led you to believe.
My message to you if you're considering ERP
It makes sense if you feel hesitant—this is something new, and you might not know what to expect. Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy isn't about throwing you in the deep end or forcing you to do things you don't want to do. It's a collaborative process where we work together to find what feels manageable and makes sense as a starting point. We'll take steps together, one step at a time.
