I see OCD therapy as a collaborative experiment—we’ll lean into discomfort, use creativity, and approach the process like a team. I know building trust can take time, so I’ll be patient, consistent, and transparent as we work together. I want you to know you’re not alone. My place is not to judge you. I’ve got your back, even when uncertainty shows up. I also have experience with how OCD overlaps with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, fertility issues, and stress.

Why I became a therapist

My aunt is a retired therapist, and she's always been very influential in my life. I also wanted people to know they're not alone, because I know what that feels like. I decided to specialize in OCD because I genuinely wanted to know more about how I could help people with this condition. I really wanted to learn.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

My place here is not to judge you. I know it can take a little time to build trust, so I'm very patient. There can also be a lot of uncertainty in this process, so I hope that with consistency, you'll know I've got your back.

What makes my approach different

I look at therapy like a collaborative experiment. We're going to lean into the discomfort together, using creativity and transparency. Think of it like we're a team, and it's us against the OCD.

My message to you if you're considering therapy

If you're feeling uncertain or apprehensive about starting exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, that's understandable. Taking that first step may feel like the hardest one, but there are people here who want to help and who can help. You can do it. You'll see.

Dr Erin was just the best . Although it was my initial session and ill probably have to switch to another therapist in which im sad about, I really learned a lot. She was very professional and just next level at coming down to meet me where I was mentally. I enjoyed the session and really hate that I have to change therapist to open myself up to someone new all over again. I've had a few therapist in my life and Erin outshined them all together. Wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Dan
