Why I became a therapist

I became a therapist through my own journey in therapy. After completing therapy myself, I realized how profound a difference it can make to have someone you can connect with and trust. That experience inspired me to become the kind of therapist who helps others navigate their own journey.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

Maybe this is your first time in therapy. Maybe you've seen several therapists before and haven't felt safe enough to be your authentic self. I go above and beyond to meet you where you are, ask questions to understand where you're coming from, and hear your story. We'll collaborate together, and I want you to take the reins back in your life because you're the expert on your own life.

Why I specialize in OCD

I chose to specialize in OCD because it focuses on learning how to sit with uncertainty—and life is full of uncertainty. Learning how to be okay with uncertainty is incredibly important, and it's something we can work toward together.

My message to you if you're considering therapy

Maybe you're feeling scared or hesitant to take the next step. That's okay. I remember my own first day going to therapy. I wasn't sure I was going to walk through that door, and I wasn't sure it was going to help. But that decision changed my life. I encourage you to lean into the discomfort instead of avoiding it, because avoiding short-term discomfort can lead to long-term dysfunction.
