Why I became a therapist
I've always been passionate about supporting people and helping them improve their quality of life. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported as they work through life's challenges. I love being an OCD specialist because I find it incredibly rewarding to watch my Members gain confidence, overcome obstacles, and reconnect with the lives they want to live.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I believe people do their best work in therapy when they feel accepted, respected, and understood. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about your thoughts, fears, and experiences without worrying about being judged. Together, we'll use evidence-based treatment to help you build confidence, face challenges, and move toward the life you want to live.
Treating the whole person
I've worked with many Members experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, panic symptoms, grief, and major life transitions alongside their OCD. I know that OCD often shows up with other conditions and can be shaped by our experiences, and I believe in treating the whole person while helping you build practical skills that improve your daily life.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
Taking the first step toward exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy may feel intimidating, especially if OCD has been part of your life for a long time, but I want you to know that you won't be expected to face your fears all at once. We'll work together at a pace that feels appropriate, and I'll be there to support you throughout the process. While ERP can be challenging at times, it's highly effective, and it can be incredibly empowering.
