What inspires my work

I became a therapist after 10 years as a pre-K teacher because I have a passion for helping people align their behavior with their ideal selves. That's also why I chose to specialize in OCD. People who struggle with OCD deserve someone passionate to help them push past their compulsions so they can live a life that aligns with what they want for themselves.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

Therapy with me is a safe space for all. While you might feel slightly pushed past your comfort zone, our sessions will still be encouraging, warm, and nonjudgmental.

What I want to help you see in yourself

One of the most rewarding moments in therapy is when my Members begin to notice their own progress. It's like a light bulb comes on, and they realize their behaviors are becoming more aligned with who they want to be than when they first started.

My message to you if you're considering therapy

If you're considering exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy but feeling hesitant or unsure, I get it. It's not easy work, but managing OCD and anxiety isn't easy either. It's more challenging, even. I know you can do hard things. Now you get to choose your hard—whether you want to stay where you are or work toward coming out of it.
