I take a collaborative, authentic, and curious approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share what you’re feeling and thinking, move at a pace that feels manageable, and practice tolerating uncertainty and discomfort. The only way out is through, and you can do hard things. I’ll walk alongside you while challenging you to recognize what you’re capable of. I also have experience treating anxiety, substance use, major depression, borderline personality disorder, trauma, and PTSD.

My personal connection to mental health

I became a therapist through a slow journey of discovering social work and realizing it was a great fit for me. My mom struggled significantly with mental health and substance use, and mental health wasn't really spoken about in my household. Psychological education became a way for me to understand my childhood, and I fell in love with clinical social work. Therapy has changed my life, and it's been a really meaningful career for me.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

This is a safe place for you to tell me exactly what you're feeling and thinking. We'll work together at a pace that feels safe and comfortable while also gently challenging you, because that's where growth happens.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to see that you're so much more capable than you give yourself credit for. Watching my Members develop self-confidence, tolerate uncertainty, and realize, "I can do this," is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My message to you if you're considering therapy

It's completely valid to feel hesitant about starting exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy. Trying something new can feel uncomfortable at first, no matter what it is, but I think sometimes we have to remember that the only way out is through. We can do hard things, and we can take action while feeling afraid. That's how we learn that we're stronger than fear.
