I became a therapist because I saw a need in my community for behavioral health care, especially in the Latino community. I’m committed to doing my best for each Member I work with. My goal is to create a space where you feel acknowledged, valued, and heard while we work together to address what’s getting in the way of your daily life. I also have experience with how OCD overlaps with addiction, chronic pain, severe and persistent mental illness, and adjustment concerns.

Why I became a therapist
I became a therapist because I saw a need for mental health care in my community, especially for Latino men, and I wanted to be a resource for people who needed treatment and support. OCD was an area that genuinely interested me, and I chose to make the transition to becoming a specialized therapist so I could help people living with this misunderstood, often debilitating condition.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
My focus is on helping every one of my Members feel acknowledged, valued, and heard. My goal is to create a supportive environment where we can work together through whatever you're facing. That's the approach I bring to every session.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
If you're considering exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, I'd encourage you to research the treatment and learn more about it. The evidence is there. ERP is considered the most effective treatment for OCD, and many people have benefited from it. I encourage you to explore whether it could be the right fit for you.
The most rewarding part of treating OCD
I love seeing my Members improve and recover from what they're going through. Being part of that process and watching someone move forward is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
