I struggle with generalized anxiety disorder, and therapy saved my life. I apply what I learned in therapy every day, which makes me a better therapist. During sessions with me, your safety and comfort are my top priorities. I value humor and creativity, and I take a strengths-based, collaborative approach. We'll work as a team to build on your strengths while moving toward a life guided by your values, not OCD. I also have experience with how OCD overlaps with related conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and postpartum issues.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I wanted to become a therapist because I have been in therapy throughout my life. I personally struggle with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and therapy saved my life. What I learned in therapy, I utilize every single day, and I really think that makes me a better therapist since I've been on the other side of the therapeutic experience.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
Your safety and comfort in sessions with me are a priority. We will meet in a confidential space, and I really want to get to know you. I value being non-judgmental, working together to determine the best course of treatment for you, and helping you create a life that's worth living.
Why I specialize in OCD treatment
I decided to specialize in OCD because I really believe in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, and I really feel like it can help people living with OCD live better lives and live according to their values.
What I want you to know if you're considering therapy
If you're reading this, then you've already taken the first step toward getting help. I know, as someone who has been in and out of therapy throughout my life, how uncomfortable and scary it may feel to open up to someone new about things that are hard to talk about. And I know that it's worth it. Exposure and response prevention (ERP) works, and together we can build a life that feels worth living.
