I became a therapist after healing from my own depression and social anxiety. Helping people find an identity and lifestyle beyond their condition is really rewarding to me. In sessions, I lead with empathy and curiosity. It's important that you feel empowered and understood. I like to make jokes occasionally, often at my own expense—I take my work seriously, but I don't always take myself so seriously. I'm comfortable being me, and I believe you can be comfortable being you. I also have experience treating all the different shapes of anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and substance use.
