Navigating OCD can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don't have to face it by yourself. I am committed to helping people feel seen, understood, and supported as they develop practical tools to reclaim their lives. In our work together, you'll be an active part of your treatment team. We'll identify what's holding you back and create strategies to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and at peace. In addition to OCD, my other areas of focus include anxiety, depression, and stress management, especially during life transitions.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I grew up with a loved one who struggled with OCD. This was before we even knew that they had OCD, and before I knew what OCD was. That's a big reason why I'm drawn to treating OCD—I know many people go a really long time without an accurate diagnosis or any understanding of what they're experiencing.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I aim to make sure you know you're not being judged by me. My job is not to make you feel "strange," "weird," or "crazy" for the unwanted thoughts you're having. In fact, my job is to do the exact opposite. I try hard to make sure you feel validated and understood, and know that you're not alone in what you're going through.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want to help you see that you are resilient, capable, and strong. You've had the strength all along. You just needed to discover it.

My message to you if you're considering therapy

Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy is the most effective treatment for OCD, and there are many studies that show how well this works. I think that can be helpful to hear if you're hesitant to try it. OCD is one of the most treatable conditions, so we tend to see people get better really quickly.

Good experience

Since switching to NOCD recently a few months ago after an OCD diagnosis, my therapist has helped me with life changing milestones I didn’t even know were possible. We work together as a team to not let the cycle of OCD get in the way of my life
