Living with OCD myself, I understand how exhausting it can be to get caught in cycles of intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and avoidance. That personal experience fuels my passion for helping others find long-term relief. I create a safe space where you can share your thoughts without fear of judgment. I’m not afraid of your thoughts, and I hope that eventually, you’ll feel much less afraid too. OCD is a part of you, but it doesn’t have to define or control your life. Providing neurodivergent-affirming care is important to me; I have experience treating autism.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I have OCD, but I didn't know that until I started doing this work several years ago. Since then, I've gained a better understanding and become really passionate about treating OCD and helping others. I really understand what it's like to have thoughts that are uncomfortable and pretty scary, and what it's like to live with that type of anxiety. I get it.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I've always enjoyed listening more than talking, so I really like to hear your story. I try my best to get to your level, to understand where you're at so I can meet you there, and to remind you that I'm not judging you because of your thoughts. My Members have told me they can tell I'm not judging them, and they feel they can share whatever they want.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want to help you see your strengths. I think OCD can make people so focused on the negatives that they can lose sight of what they're good at and what they're passionate about. I hope to bring some of that back to the surface.
My message to you if you're considering therapy
We're going to start with the smallest things and work our way up to the bigger stuff. OCD treatment doesn't happen all at once—we're climbing a ladder one step at a time. The long-term gains from the skills you'll learn outweigh the short-term comfort of any compulsions.

Good experienceDavid Jarosz is THE BEST and I'm truly grateful to have him as my ERP therapist. He is the only person who has EVER helped me with OCD. David is professional, personable and genuinely cares about helping others. I highly recommend booking a session with him if youre ready to change your life for good.

Good experienceConsistent in being warm and helpful throughout all sessions, offers constructive feedback and criticism, always leaves me feeling empowered rather than hopeless at the end of sessions. checks in on me lots and demonstrates deep levels of concern and willingness to help. Truly feels like someone is there for me, whereas last therapist was sort of wishy-washy in support, and knows that I can make differences in my life! :) Kindness doesn't go unnoticed, and I feel like we are developing a positive relationship so that although I'm not messaging him as frequently anymore, I still feel supported by strategies that he suggests and the erp we have completed. Genuinely has helped me get back up on my feet somewhat and not constantly being self hating, and for that he should be commended :)

Good experienceDavid is a wonderful therapist. He really gives 100% every single session and is very knowledgeable. He’s so caring and remembers little details. I don’t know where I’d be without him!
