You will not go through OCD therapy alone. Equipped with the tools provided by NOCD, I will accompany you and help you reach your goals. As a therapist, I tailor various methods of treatment to your needs as an individual, and consider your real-life experiences. I have struggled with the pain of depression and ADHD, and I have hard-won insights from that pain. Being able to connect with another person who's in pain—and being able to help them live a more peaceful and engaged life—is the most gratifying part of my work.

My personal connection to mental health

I do have a direct connection to anxiety. I am a first-generation immigrant to the United States, and that has influenced how I work with populations from outside the country as well as diverse populations within the country. Those experiences shape how I understand what it feels like to navigate uncertainty, new environments, and different cultural expectations—and how important it is to feel understood.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I create a space in my sessions where nobody is judged, and nothing that anybody can say can scare me away. My Members have told me that I'm easy to talk to, don't interrupt, and am a good listener. I believe you need to hear that nobody is going to judge you and that you will be accepted for 100% of who you are.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I think the most important quality for you to see in yourself is self-confidence and the ability to do whatever your values direct you to do. Therapy is about helping you move toward what matters most to you—not what fear dictates, but what your values guide you toward.

The most rewarding part of treating OCD

The most rewarding part of this work is knowing that we have a therapy that can actually help you live a more meaningful and productive life. My Member once told me, "This therapy really changed the way I see myself and my ability to move forward in my life." Hearing that is incredibly inspiring.
