My approach to OCD therapy is highly compassionate and person-centered. OCD is more than just intrusive thoughts; it often causes difficult feelings such as shame, guilt, and self-doubt. I work on targeting the cycle of obsessions and compulsions through exposure and response prevention (ERP) work, while promoting self-compassion, reducing avoidance, and helping you build on your sense of self and values. In our sessions, I'll create a safe space where you can feel like your most true and authentic self. I also have experience helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD.

Why our members love working with Melodi
E.W.
Melodi has been such a comfort in a new challenge. She is friendly and warm and knows exactly how to encourage without pushing too hard. She can help me decipher my thoughts and use the feedback I’m giving her to completely personalize my treatment plan. She is creative and helpful but also gives me space to come up with these ideas on my own. She has helped me to feel proud of myself and my growth so far and has been so supportive and understanding about the times I have felt like I just had too long or hard of a day to do hard work in therapy. ERP has been challenging so far and I have definitely had hard days, whether that be because of the exposures I’m working on or just because of life in general, but I look forward to therapy because I know Melodi will create a welcoming environment where I truly feel understood. One of the hardest things about OCD is feeling like no one gets it, so having that quality in a therapist is very valuable!
