I’m a collaborative, warm, and honest therapist. To treat OCD, I use exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, grounded in values-based work. We’re not just going to be focused on reducing fear, we’re going to help you build the kind of life you actually want. I support the whole person, not just symptom reduction. Watching someone move from feeling stuck and fearful toward a fuller, more self-compassionate life is everything to me. I love seeing Members surprise themselves with their capabilities. Outside of OCD, I also work with people navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and life transitions.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health
I chose to specialize in OCD because I saw how often people struggled in silence, especially in communities where intrusive thoughts are misrepresented or met with shame. I wanted to make sure more people, including those from BIPOC communities, had access to life-changing treatment. Growing up as a Jamaican American immigrant and now being a wife and a mom, I've seen how often people carry worry, fear, or guilt quietly, especially when those feelings don't fit how they think they're supposed to feel. I wanted to be someone who could help people untangle all that with compassion and clarity.
How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy
I do my best to create an environment where you can feel empowered and motivated to be yourself. I believe in showing up as my authentic self and sharing experiences when applicable to help you feel this is a nonjudgmental environment. This isn't a place to feel judged. It's a place to speak about scary, sticky thoughts and know that you're not alone. My Members often appreciate my warmth, honesty, open-mindedness, and sense of humor. They value feeling connected.
How culture and identity shape my approach
As a Jamaican American immigrant and woman of color, I bring an understanding of how culture, identity, and representation shape someone's experience with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and shame. Many Members, especially from BIPOC communities, may feel seen and understood in an already vulnerable setting. As a mom, wife, and business owner, I also understand the pressure of juggling responsibilities, which helps me connect with my Members who feel overwhelmed by expectations.
What I want to help you see in yourself
I want you to see yourself as courageous. Showing up and facing fears is already an act of bravery. I want you to feel resilient and know you can keep going even when there are setbacks. And I want you to develop self-compassion, learning to respond to yourself with kindness rather than criticism.
