I became an OCD therapist after seeking Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for myself. I experienced firsthand how powerful the right therapist and treatment can be for this misunderstood disorder. My work is about more than just paying it forward — I want to empower people with OCD to thrive and feel fulfilled. Whether we're doing exposures or making small talk, my aim is to make treatment comfortable, like you're meeting with a genuine human. My other specialties include generalized anxiety, trauma/PTSD, addiction, mood disorders, stress, self-esteem, and body image.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have OCD myself, and it has a huge impact on how I treat my Members and how I show up in our sessions together. I know what the day-to-day of living with OCD is like. That shared experience can be very healing, and I try to bring that deep understanding into the work we do together in therapy.

How my background shapes my approach

The way I was raised, my experiences, and the people I've met have all helped me become a more compassionate person. I'm not here just to treat OCD—I want to understand how every aspect of your life fits into it, and to get to know you as a whole person.

How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy

I show up as my authentic self. I'll let you know that you can ask me questions about my background, my training, or how I got into this work. We're two humans coming together to talk about really vulnerable things. If anything ever feels confusing or frustrating, I want us to talk about it, because that can be very healing.

What I want to help you see in yourself

I want you to see how capable, powerful, and smart you are. Yes, we create a treatment plan together, but the real progress is going to come from your consistency, your effort, and your willingness to show up. You are the one doing the work, and I want you to recognize how much that matters.

Good experience

I love that Molly is so relatable and actually knows what it’s like to have OCD. I have never felt so understood by previous therapists (outside of NOCD). Molly always provides deeper insights, and always highlights my strengths and progress! I love working with Molly! I am so proud of the progress we’ve made together!
