I provide a non-judgmental environment where you'll feel supported as you conquer what's holding you back. I've always gravitated toward working with people who've been marginalized and under-represented; I specialize in OCD because I've seen the profound difference ERP (Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy) can make. (My other areas of focus include anxiety, addictions, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and women's issues.) This will be a challenging journey, but we'll take it together. At times, it may be scary, but as our work progresses, you'll see that with challenge comes growth.

My personal connection to OCD and mental health

I have OCD. It impacts my approach to therapy because I'm constantly challenging myself to be uncomfortable. Understanding how that can feel helps me connect with Members and grow their confidence in their own ability to handle discomfort.

How I create a safe, judgment-free space

I'm open about my own personal experiences with anxiety and OCD, as well as other mental health struggles my family has experienced. I'm also open about the different types of work I've done. I'll make sure you know there's nothing you could say that would make me not want to work with you. Your thoughts are not shameful, and I can support you through difficult times.

What helps Members feel comfortable with me

My members have said I'm perceptive to shifts in their moods and emotions, and I can often pick up on what they're experiencing even when they're not verbally expressing it. They've also said I make our sessions feel safe and supportive.

How I support Members throughout the process

I approach my Members from a strengths-based and empathetic perspective. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I want you to know you're not going through it alone. I'm very responsive to messaging between sessions. You can reach out anytime if you have a question or need support.
